Hello- I am new to Buggy riding and recently bought a HH 150gt. I love this thing except that it bogging down going up small hills. Like just a gravel road, no slipping but as if it is in too high a gear.
I was wondering if my husband should go ahead and modify it or if I should sell or trade and get the HH 250 gt or ss? Is there any difference in the two besides the accessories?
I would also like to have a rear view mirror but can't find one. The 250 has one but it is twice the cost of the 150.
Any thoughts?

Thanks

welcome to buggynews, what year is your hh150? it should have a 39 tooth axle sprocket. my wifes didnt climb very well until I changed the rollers and main spring.

What they said. You can make these 150 climb. We have a hh250 as well. For the cost just mod it

I just bought my HH150 new from a dealer here in town. It is lime green, I assume it is a 2009.
I will have my husband count the axle sprocket. So in your opinion it is best to modify instead of spending extra for the 250 just to go up hills faster?
I plan on making it to TB. I want to ride as much as possible. Can't wait to see yall ride yours and give me some pointers!!

it probably has th 39 tooth on it since there are no 09 models out that I am aware of. I would do the cvt mods, uni and rejet, then open up the exhaust.

my wifes hammerhead has 12 gram sliders, yellow main spring, yellow clutch arm springs, teflon variator and a 39 tooth sprocket. it will go just about anywhere.

Your gonna want to mod the 250 as well. Unless your looking for top end then the 150 will do every thing you want and the mods are half the cost of the 250's
