Hav a recently aquired '78 FL250 oddy with points ignition and wanting to switch to cdi ignition. Has anyone switched to this setup before?

To make the switch you will need to get the entire electrical setup out of a 12 volt ignition odyssey, 1981 and after I believe. On the 78 you currently have a 6 volt setup. When the made the switch to 12 volt they made it pointless ignition.
