Hi i measured the framwork, the frame that goes around the tank now sticks out 8" off the main frame. From the plate where the ball attaches to the under side ofthe new extended frame 7", anything with a tung at all should go write in there. Top End Performance has any weber parts you need, the jets are easy to change, the idle jets are under the thumb screw on top the float bowl, the main jet is in the right bottom float chamber,5 screws and your write there. Thanks for all your help Peter. Ghost

Nice job on that extension. Looks really clean. I too have been in the process of fabricating my own extensions for the rear cage, but for different reasons/needs. I am extending mine out 9 more inches in order to use it as a spare wheel/tire carrier. Almost done and should be completed hopefully by Sunday.
I got the idea from a picture I saw of the Joyner 650's in the UK. Seems a lot of them come with this option over there, even found a site that you can actually buy the pre-made kit from to do this small conversion.
Anywho...great job looks good!
This is what I'm going for, free up some space on the other racks.

They want 50 UK which I think without doing the math is 75.00 or so USD give or take a few bucks. I e-mailed them last night to see how much it would cost total for p[arts and shipping to my zip here in the states. No reply so far. Here is the link though.
