In my quest for more speed. Im still not certain what to go with carb or turbo. But what SXS have you guys taken on and beat with your stock or modded 650? Hill climbs, drags, whatever. I will be riding mostly sand so please indicate if run was done on dirt or sand and your mods. Thanks Guys!

If crazy fast is your goal why not put a 'Busa in a Rhino? Since Rhinos are so big & slow they make good recipients for Rotax, R1, etc transplants.

I have the fast freddies kit on my 650ss and it will smoke a rhino easy, and is still cheaper than a rhino by about 2k. My ss with only 2 wheel drive will go more places than the rhino also, may get a little muddier but still get there. I am very happy with my investment.

BigT, where are you located in TN again? You should go on the Turkey Bay ride in Nov.

I like my RZR... If you want real power out of it, put a turbo on it.

Ok, I'm gonna say RZR...because yes I JUST BOUGHT ONE! Finally after months and months of deliberation and saving...I finally made a purchase....well a couple of them. I bought a brand new 09 RZR and the RZR 170 for my kids. All I can say is wow. The family is excited. Although the stock form of the RZR seems plenty and then some...I have to put the S&S exhaust, intake, and chip...not for more power....but just because...my wife says its a guy thing.

I love the looks of the RZR but was disapointed with the kids RZR when I saw the straight axle.. why would they not put in (IRS) a setup like the 150cc joyner??

I brought that up when I was buying it (IRS), but my wife thought it was cool...(the minature rzr thing) and my son wanted one that looked like dads :D It may have the juice that the 150s do, but it DOES NOT have the room. Unlike, my Talon 150 that fit me comfortably or quite frankly any Corb 150...this thing is designed for kids only. It fits my 13 year perfectly and my 10 and 7 year old fit well too. Great seat adjustment...no need for the blocks on the pedals :D I can't tell you how it compares to my Talon yet, because I still have the governor on...but I'm sure after some minor mods it would be good...but probably won't be doing that for some time cause it fits the kids wonderfully.

Ok my apologies, I just realized I am WAY off topic. If your riding is going to be mostly in the sand....I did like the rzr-s (orange). But if its shocking speed you want...I say put the busa in frame!
