Hi Roost, never had a ride in the turbo,so i can't give you a seat of the pants comparrision, but like i said devilville need all the boost he can find. Had it up to 5700 rpm 4th gear yesterday 72 plus, buggy gets pretty hairy at those speeds, here's the kicker,my passenger was complaining about the speed. Id say it will do an honest 80. Will take gps,no passenger next time. Ghost

hey Ghost, do you think you can get these pistons for an 800? i would love to get some more power, but I don't like the Turbo idea. Not sure what else I would have to mod to get them to work on an EFI.
Nathan @ Track & Trail is interested in them also.

Hi Bigt, here's the new price on Wisco pistons, this is for four pistons, thats the min. they will forge, everybody i talked with was the same way,Ross etc. 566.40 i paid 694.39 because of the engineering. Approx. 4 weeks. If you can find a buddy that would be 283.20 for each of you.Wisco will make any size you want depending on how good of shape your bores are. Be shure to talked to Sue Nash in tec. she knows her stuff and was with me on this project from the get go. If you you need any advise let me know.

Hi Vepr308, two thoughts Wisco will make pistons for anything if you give them enough info. I think it will be easier for the 800,newer engine design, more popular, there could already be oversize and after market pistons available, this would be great and a lot cheeper. Maybe somebody on Buggy News knows the answer. Don't give up on the turbo, because of the running adjustability of EFI,turbos adapt better than carbs. They say the only replacement for cubic inches is a turbo. Ghost
