Hi,i need better rear suspenion, the front seems ok but not great,70%of the weight is in the rear. When the rear end leaves the ground it jumps around like a pogo stick. Im balking at 800.00 for fox shocks, any other ideas would be appreciated. Oh installed new tach, now we have two running at same time, will let you know how this is working. Ghost
Thanks for everything ghost. About to take the plunge on the fast freddies carb kit! Will port and polish when i install the kit. Now is anyone interested in going in on the wiseco pistons? If so pm me. Getting excited just thinking about the mods. Thanks again

Subject: Avaition gas, went out to the local airport,i know the gas jockey i fact he has a soup up v8 rail, told hum i wanted to buy some av gas for the buggy. He said that if you knowing put avaition fuel in a 4 wheeler the fine is 25 k,well. He told me to bring 2-5gal. cans, take a magic marker and write airplane on the cans,he will fill them no questions asked. The avaition fuel is 3.98 a gal. 100 octane. Havn't decided if im going to try it yet. Shure beats 6.00 for 105 racing fuel. Ghost

I knew running aviation fuel in road vehicles was prohibited due to lack of taxes for roads (like red-dyed diesel), but did not know it was prohibited for off-road use...
I have heard that av gas is not the greatest unless put into aircraft because it is designed for high altitude steady rpm. I dont know if it is true or not and I am by no means a petroleum expert so I dont know what difference it would make. It could just be a myth that the race fuel guys have come up with so they can sell more product for twice the price. I have run it in my dirtbikes before with no ill effects though.
I would suggest a 50 50 mix. That way you have some of the properties of regular gas with the octane of the av gas. I dont think it would hurt anything but you might want to research it.

Hi Pghruby,Roost, it could be the emissions i don't know. One other advantage,im told av gas is a lot cleaner, than auto fuel. Ill ask around about mixing 50 50 or 60 40 well see what i find out.Ghost
Thats quite possible. You cant afford carbon fouling or sticking valves at 12000ft. When I went to aircraft mechanic school 20 years ago the engines used were basically vw engines with no emissions so they arent the cleanest burning. The cleaner burning fuel would make sense.
