I e-mailed to see if I could buy five at a time for a better deal.
They have a weird carb set up on them. I,m really courious if they have a hi or low tranz. Heck I have 1200 in a good rebuild with a new crank, pistons and head so that is worth it and the trany as a bonus.

I knew someone would be interested in these....
Did they reply?
If you do end up getting a bunch of them, and if they have low ratio trans, perhaps you could maybe send one of those 'bonus' trans my way...?? (for a price of course) :D

I have a 2006 800 sand viper and a 2006 650 sand spider, i am considering swapping the 800 into the 650, and then ? into the 800? Has anybody done a turbo sprint engine swap into a 800 chassis? :(

mick did a geo metro swap into his 800. Do search he posted quite a bit about it. I noticed they have raised the prices on the engines. The 650s are now 1295 plus shipping and the 800s are up to 1495. Still probably a decent deal.

Yes to all. The 800 Suzuki will fit in the spider.. The early 800 carb joyner even used the same radatior. I'm sure you will have to get hose though.

We looked at this swap along time ago. I beleive the 800 is about 1/2 -3/4 longer and that is it.

The engine will fit in the frame BUT the trany's are not the same, you will need to swap out the whole engine trany unit.
I did a little research after Vanet pointed out they wernt the same and he was correct, they arnt the same.

Later W.C.
