I never did get a chance to get the newer lower bracket yet but there is an easy fix. If you have a grinder and drill. Notch out about 3/4 of an inch and redrill a new lower hole. The upper bracket just move to the bottom hole.

PunaRambler...

While you search, you may be able to move the brackets. On my ride, the bolt spacing for both upper and lower brackets are the same spacing. You can relocate the brackets up one hole. This clears the axel. It will leave unused bolt hole, but hasn't affected operations. I've had it like that for 2 desert seasons...no problem. Before I moved it I tried grinding some of the lower bracket, but moving the whole thing up worked much better.

I'm kinda jammed for time right now, but if you need pics I can post some later. Heading out to the desert now for the 'rain festival'.

Yes they are hard to get here is a photo of what you need, I actually broke an axle from hitting the low mount and modified mine by cutting off the mount brocket and rewelding it higher on the plate then added a small tab to the top tentioner bracket with a new bolt hole in it to move it up the block.
Anyhow here is a photo of the new on on the left "higher" and the old one on the right "lower".

Later W.C.

Could be correct I dont mess with them much , they dont make the engine go faster so there just parts to me.

I just knew I had them in a box to take photos of and compare.
