the HP gain is around double, of course every motor is a bit different but the numbers are very similar from 800cc to 800cc motor.
the lower ratio transmissions are still aways off and the motor swaps are still in the research and developement mode.
this kit is ready and waiting to bolt on now, its proven and reliable and easy to do, personaly I can find no fault in this power upgrade and after all isnt "more power" what we are all looking for???

Absolutely power is what we are looking for. I am not sayin g don't buy it I am saying for me I think I will do the engine swap. I just think for me it is better to have a base engine that has aftermarket performance parts readily available.
I think that the important thing to realize is that we are coming up with some great options.... As we research these a little more, I think we are going to find out that we have a good base from which to build from. We can upgrade as we go along, or as things need to be replaced.
If we want to go real big like superkarts 4cyl engine swap and performance upgrades to that (such as a turbo) we can probably run with the big dawgs.
If we want to go kinda big, we turbo our 800
I will most likely go smaller, port and polish, shaved head and transmission swap. I do not need all of the extra HP in the woods. Trees come up too fast.

Whoops... I totally forgot to post the pics... Sorry!
Options are great... I would have a hard decission between a plug and play suzuki engine and this turbo as well. Both could be really fun. If someone comes up with hot cams, etc for the 800cc there would be even more options. That is where the Suzuki engine shines, there are already so many aftermarket parts available for it due to it's high popularity with car tuners.
Here's the turbo pics...

hello again, 4 videos of turbo action in a 800cc buggy available just e-mail me and ill forward them, real interesting stuff.
also, per all the questions the updated kit also comes with a better cooling kit, recovery jug and high flow fan and wiring plus flame body vinal decals and other stuff and all for the same price.
Buggie went 74.5 in 1/8 mile run With 10Lbs of boost. That is as fast as my dodge Hemi regular cab truck. it went 74 1/8 @ 87 in 1/4.
good watching.

can't wait to see it. Can you get steve to post it on the site, I am sure he (and others) will want to see it as well. I will e-mail you from my yahoo account.
How does it do as far as low end, hill climbing etc. Does it still need a new transmission, or does the turbo pick up the slack???
