I have a Robin Subaru ex 21 7hp with a Comet torq a verter. What can I do to get more torque?

I am going to upgrade the air filter and I am trying to figure out how to re jet the carb.

Any info will be appreciated.

Here is my question. If a 1500 lb (yellow) spring works on a "stock" clutch for climbing...then should a 2000lb (red) spring be used with a "yellow" springed "racing clutch" for the same effect? In other words... you put a yellow spring on a green springed clutch,so shouldn't you put a red spring on a yellowed spring clutch to aquire the same effect? Or should I use a stock spring for the "racing" clutch to give me the take off?

All I want to do is climb hills!!!!!!!!!

The torque spring helps the CVT "downshift" and keeps the belt tight. Putting in a heavier spring will not make your gearing any lower....

guys i had a private machine shop / race car builder do my head on my gy-6 theres not another head builder out there that can come close to building a head as he did.He found bigger values [about as close together as a chevy head with205/170 values] machined intake port and intake riser to match carb base same with exhaust port he grounded me a cam close to an a12 and made a set of roller rockers to work I have a hammerhead racing exhaust system he opened up some and a 30mm pumper carb we jetted at 165 main and 55 piliot jet 9g sliters kevlar belt I will put this 150 up aganst any 250 out there in the woods or on the circle or in the sand and I will make you feel bad the head and cam made biggest diffence the heads that some of the places sell for 300.00 are childs play compaired to this one[5% torgue gain and 6% horsepower for 300.00 what a joke] and on top off that the head work cost 150.00 labor and 200 in parts.I would tell anyone to find your best local machine shop that does high performance work and if there good they can figure out what to do to make this head breath and cut you a cam with the right lobe off set lift and duration and also timming chain off set if any one would like his name and # in Ga I'll give it out.It may take a while for himto get it done considering how many race engines hes building and carbs for super late modals both dirt and asphault on comment he did have was the stock head on these engines is not a bad design and you have a great deal to work with,1 more thing I did add an oil cooler and bigger oil tank remotely mounted holds 3.5 qarts of mobli 1 vtwin 20w50 oil

Twister hammerhead gt150
custom head,cam,modifed hammerhead racing exhaust,9g sliders,kevlor belt,30mm pumper 165 main 55 poilet,12 inch wheels and 13 inch wheels,custom breather with k&n filter,bigger brake rotors vented,withcooling ducts,gas shocks adjustable,modified lowered roll cage 39tooth spocket,runs off 105octane unical racing gas

You got some dyno test? We have some heads floating around that claim 15% but I have'nt seen much proof. I know guy's running a 4 valve that will spank bout any 250 so I know they work. Besides if you were to take a 4 valve and do the same  Please dont take this like I'm being a jerk but I need proof. Can you make it to the fall ride? I'll race you in a 150  thats been known to spank some 250's.

Just like with the blade head, I need to see it next to the 4 valve. Proof is in the pudding. Whats the number gained? What is incresed and where. Whats the powerband looking like from 0-9500 rpm's.

I would be interested in your findings there. My 250 is getting a few mods here and there but isn't "spanking" back yet, LOL... Soon!!
