Sue, We are having our North East Rally very shortly... We would be honored to host a benefit for Steve, and raise any proceeds towards the site purchase, home renovations or whatever. PLEASE, pm me or Email me at Racemybuick@yahoo.com and I would be honored and privilaged to do something/anything in your family name.

John Mackey :D

This is an absolute shame! This site has been a big part of my life. I know I don't get on here as much as I used to but for about 1-1/2 years, I lived for BuggyNews. I was on here every five minutes. No joke! I helped organize the first Annual Buggy Bash. I have helped push BuggyNews to everyone I know. I have been around since there were only about 450 members on here. To see the possibililty of this site being shut down is very depressing. I have made friends on here from all over the country. Some I would consider nearly best friends. If indeed this site is going to be shut down, we need to take measures to insure that we can all keep in touch.

Sue-

I can't even imagine what you are going through. But for you to say that Steve is not even acknowledged on here anymore is ludicrous. Steve is Buggy News! If it weren't for Steve, none of us would even know each other. If it wasn't for Steve, Buggy's probably would be struggling to survive. When Steve was alive, I shared all these feelings with him and thanked him numerous times for creating BuggyNews. I can't help but feeling there is more to the story. I hope that I am wrong but that is how I feel. Irregardless, my prayers will continue to be for your family.

John

See my announcement about the old Yahoo Group. This can be the bulletin board that "survivors" can go to to search for their "loved ones". OK that's taking the analogy a little too far

My prayers are with your family Sue
I'm saddened to hear the news that this forum will shut down I just recently joined as a member when the other forum I was on yerfer.net shut down about a month ago hopefully somebody will find a way to keep this forum going as it is a huge resource of knowledge and a community of family friendly mini buggy enthusiasts. I never knew or met the founder Steve Hopkins personally but wherever you are thank you for bringing together this family of Mini buggy enthusiasts. I only wish you had spent more time devoted to your own family so that they would not have to deal with this tragedy. My prayers are with your family
