There are packages out there that I can port to that have a much more cohesive feel to them. They do a better job of incorporating the photo sections and the message boards... and also include secure download/upload sections.... stuff that just is not available for this software yet... at least not secure versions.
I dunno... it's just a thought, and it would be a lot of work, but this new host is very versatile and I can set up many test domains to get one running on first before moving it over to here.
We wouldn't loose any messages, but the pictures ... well, we may loose the picture attachements in the forum in trying to port it over.
I'm playing with other software packages for another project I'm working on now that doesn't involve this site. We'll see how that goes.
What do ya all think?

Hey, As far as the software is concerned, I think this site is fine the way it is. That said, I am a firm believer in change if it makes things better or easier. So work your magic man!

Yeah, still tossing the idea around. The cool part about the software I'm using now is that there a lot of people working on it out there, so there are always new features that can be added. Seems like every month there are at least a dozen new plug ins that I can fool around with.
For example, I just added the personal album pics in the profiles, and the link to individual user albums in the posts, if a user has any pics added.
Cool stuff.
Thanks for the comments.
