Just bought a 2007 Ace Maxxam 150 for an 11 yr. old and she is having a blast! It runs fine but her mother and I like to ride also. It is a little slugish with us on it. What should be my first mods? We live in Oklahoma and most riding is on flat land with a few hills.

welcome to buggynews. there is alot that can be done to them. cvt mods are easy and cheap. A set of 10 gram rollers and a main spring runs around $25.75 that will give better low end and take off, 12 gram sliders will help accelleration, low end some, but will hlep retain top speed.

in my wifes I have 12 gram sliders, white main spring and yellow clutch arm srpings, it pulls both of us good and will top out at 42mph going by my gps and trail tech

hello and welcome what BIGE said will make a big difference in the buggy.
then if you decide you need a little more for the hills you ride you could go a with a 39 tooth axle sprocket.
you might loose a couple three mph on top end but you will get to places faster and up the hills.
it would be a good mod if your riding double alot.the clutch will like you for it to.

have fun

pud

Thanks for the help guys. I just ordered the white Koso main spring and the Dr.Pulley 12 gram sliders. After I get those in I'm gonna go with the Uni filter and 125 jets.

Is this a trick of the trade or something to simple to talk about? Just dont want to gut it and make it sound like dirty diaper.
