Vacuum is generated by the intake elbow between the carburetor and engine - You should see a barb on the elbow. If you have a vacuum operated fuel petcock, there will be a tee fitting off this vacuum line. The vacuum line would go to the lower petcock barb, while the upper barb goes to the fuel line. The other end of the vacuum tee goes to the carburetor slide.

hey all, just wanted to give an update... I bought a carb off ebay

and my buggy is up and running! plenty of power! just need to adjust te fuel-air mixture now. Thanks for all the help guys!!!

they do replace the entire choke housing and comes with the cable
