No increase in rpm when running it and spraying carb cleaner. Where is the air hose hooked to the nipple on the manifold supposed to go to? Jason and I folded it over and zip tied it shut when we put the buggy together. Is that supposed to go somewhere else on the engine or elsewhere??

Thinking is serves a purpose or they wouldn't put it on the manifold?

usaully it goes to the vaccum opperated petcock and carb

Manual fuel shut off now so that is probably why we tied it off. On my pumper carb there is a short piece of hose that angles down. It is near the choke and wiring. Is that meant to hook up to the manifold or is it a vent tube for the carb. This not the hose at the bowl for drainage.

Have you looked at Jasons carb set up .Should be the same as yours.

Nope. The only spot on the carb would be the short piece that comes out and angles down. Feels like it a faint air sucking at that hose. I will take a look at his. I was just going to text him and see if he was going to be around tonight.

on the 30mm pumper carb I have here the hose is a vent, if the float sticks the gas will run out from there, mine has an electric choke on it does yours?
