I haven't looked at Sand Sports in a long time....Do they cover any mini buggies besides the awesumly fast bike powered rails ???
They do have a lot of high powered mini rails. They also have a lot of quads, UTV and so on. Recently they did a test on the Polaris RZR. I find many parts thru the advertising vendors.... fuel tanks, steering racks, ball joints, fire extinguishers safety flags, seats.....etc. The items most of our dealers just don't carry.
Thanks for the suggestions I was able to spot "SideXSide Action magazine" a good magazine but 98% of its content is geared towards the 4x4 golf style carts there has to be enough mini buggy enthusiasts out there to have our own magazine.
I'm in the business of Print Magazines but unfortunately its not that easy to start up something new, nor do I have enough knowledge (much less the financial backing) to get something like that accomplished.
A buggy magazine that caters to the MINNI BUGGY people would be awesome...It just takes time and money...What If a few of us put our heads together and worked as a team...I don't have a chinese buggy...Mine is built here and priced between the Mc and the chinese...I'd be happy to help out with such an endeavor...R

Some kind of magazine is definitely needed. More in depth buggy reviews, riding areas, how to...... would be nice. I have a computer mag I buy that does a section on crappy dealers and resolving problems. That would be a GREAT section! I think it is time, heck if they can have all those ATV magazines surely 1 buggy mag can make it!

just out of curiousity.. does anyone know , what are the longistics to put out a mag like this?
1. you have to have a publisher (i.e. the person or people with the $$ to front the project) 2. You need a Managing Editor, or team. 3. You need Writers. 4. Nothing happens without the Advertizing Sales Dept. 5. Let's not forget the Electronic Production/Art Dept. 6. Don't forget the Circulation Dept./ Subscriptions. 7. And the Marketing Dept. which deals with News Stand Vendors and thatwhole distribution network.
Show me the money and I'll sell you shares in the operation. Finding a printer is the least of our worries.
On second thought, let me contact Joel Martin at MRP and get his thoughts on the subject.
