thanks guys i just didn't know because i look at everybody's signatures and very seldom do i see roketa in them. on a side note, the only maintanence i can see on my roketa is change oil, clean air filter, and change gear box oil, any thing else i might be missing?
There's regular maintenance and then there are regular inspections - I do the maintenance as you mentioned (fluids, oil changes, etc), but I also do a pretty comprehensive inspection routine as well.
I hate breakdowns in the middle of nowhere.
I inspect every bolt I can access for presence and tightness. Inspect all hoses, rubber boots, welds at various stress points, wheel alignment, tire tread, fuel filter, UNI filter cleanliness, heck - even seat belt adjustment in between different drivers!
I listen for rattles when idling and driving short distances and try to figure out where they're coming from. And every now and again I'll dismantle the carb for a good cleaning.
It all comes down to the level of maintenance you want to put into it. Most of these things on my list are very quick inspections - the fluid changes actually take the most time.
