If you do trails and some hills then I would go with 11 gram rollers, a white main spring to start. when the clutch gives up then change to a malossi clutch.
I have a malossi variator kit that comes with 14 gram rollers, yellow main spring and a racing variator.
rollers are in the front pulley ( drive pulley ) they move up and down ramps with engine rpm. the ligther rollers will add bottom end and the main spring behind the clutch will keep it in low gear longer

Joyner is my top choice, although I feel its underpowered, I feel its the best built 250. I like the design of the Kinroad. Here in Vegas you need buggies that have long travel, and clearance. HH250 has the same motor as the Joyner, but the front suspension is made for desert riding. The GTR have probably has the most powerful engine in the 250/300 class, but again the front suspension would be a problem. The extra power doesn't mean diddly if I have to slow down for all the bumps/whoops. If I lived in an area where suspension wasn't a major concern, the above mentioned buggies would be on my list. Please understand these are my personal preferences, question is, what's yours?

I don't think I have the experience with buggy's to make an informed decision yet. I am still waiting on my BMS to show up. But will give my opinion as soon as I can. I was just looking for something to put around on but with all the upgrades around I can see this being a blast.
