Figured I would make a new thread to show what I bought. As I said in my other thread, it needs a wiring harness, fuel pump and carb according to the guy I bought it from. Its a NST 250 Buggy. That is about as much as I know. I put the parts together so that it looks normal, just took some pictures. Should be a fun project this winter.

Its not perfect, and it needs some work but its should teach me lots and bring me up to scene with the buggy game.

That thing looks good for a 500 buck buggy 8) Now I wouldn't just buy a carb. Gp get a bucket of carb cleaner. Take the carb apart and if need be take pics of each section so you remember how it goes. Let it soak a day or so. Send Pgh or Pud a PM about your electrics. They should be able to get you going there. I dont think it has a fuel pump but I may be wrong. What may have happened is the vacum feed went bad. You can by pass that for a gravity feed. Do the fuel line and electrics while the carb is soaking and you could have all your answers by tommorow night

Problem is, he didnt give me the bad carb. there was a black sock stuffed in the intake, pulled that out and looked in with a LED flashlight.....looks good. pushed the buggy in "gear" and the motor rolled over. so if its in fwd then it must be in first gear.

just emailed the guy about the old carb. Really want it. Wiring I think we could figure out, but the no carb thing....i dont know where to start.

I agree, looks like a Kinroad.
You are going to want to raise the gas tank a couple of inches or you will be replacing the vacuum fuel petcock on a regular basis.

Or maybe that was just me.

Want to take some good pics of your buggy and send them to me?
We are confused on where the wires go.

Hooked a battery charger up to it and sprayed gas in the intake and she fired right up. I am shocked how much the carb's are for these. Anyone got one they want to sell?

Anyone got a wiring diagram?

I got one. I blew the motor and rebuilt it with a 30mm slide. Dont have any jets though and it's been sitting. I can look at the diprahm to see if it looks ok but thats the best I can do. 20 bucks.

I would look at all your options because again it's been sitting
