Lets not pretend it did'nt happen We did a fair share of wrenching and we pu;;ed to gether to help each other out so lets tell the stories I had the first buggt down. The wife and Diggers wife took the hh to the ofice and the vari spun loose cutting in to a slider. Took the monster of Diggers and his sons yerf down to get em. Yerf stalled out in what we deemed the vally of death The 300 of Mr. Motion pulled the hh out while Digger got the yerf Funnyman had the one socket I did'nt have and a neet little impact.Me and Motion cleaned up the slider. Then the ball on my throtle cable came off while trying to adjust the needle in my slide. Funnyman had the fittings to crimp on and we got going. Broke a a sway bar bushing on the hh. Shredded a belt on the hh 15 min. before we were leaving Oh and I layed the 180 on its side on the 100 trail
Dont make me put you guy's out there Tell those stories

I bent the chain guard on the 300, removed and turned it around, terri hit a tree and killed the bar below the headlight, will have to cut it out and install a new one, then she layed it over on its side.
she has the most dammage, sprained and brusied wrist, road rash on her left arm, bruised elbow

Well where do I start. Night one, the coons and squirrels robbed myself and Chucks site. Day one, yerf down during rescue attempt of HH in death valley. Quick fix, cleaned carb, pilot jet plugged somehow?? Lower ball joints blew out due to huge boulders . Repaired with homemade Ball joints (thanks Ray and Eric). Day one evening headed to lake to cool off and castle nut on lower ball joint on the Digger pulled through and A-arm rolled up in the sand. Fixed on site, thanks Chuck, Don, John, Mike. Day 3 last ride before loading up, hammering whoops beside Chuck on the sand flats and lost fender off front of the Digger, Yerfs battery gave up. Had a great time.

Yerf 150: Front toe alignment after taking the 101 Trail.
Joyner 250: Rewired fans to run at ignition start instead of thermostat after one wire broke inside the insulation. Replace worn front a-arm bearing once back in Seattle (runs fine but camber is off).

Buggies held up well we changed to upgraded clutches twice should have just left them alone(but we were feeling left out we had not worked on them until then), packed mud into the rf tyre bead cleaned and reseal, uni got soaked when i was stuck in 3ft of mud/pancake batter we had a great time and as usual we all helped everyone else and besides working on karts gives us something to do when we cant ride

We only had some minor issues (mostly with the 3203). Less than an hour in I hit a rock with my sprocket and lost the master link out of my chain. Shane actually found the link in the sand A quick run to the local farm implement and I had 4 new master links and 10' of chain (just in case). We got rolling just in time to catch up to the group ride heading into the 100 . Things were going pretty good until Shane's battery quit chargin on the quad runner and then he broke the handle off the pull start...Doh! Thanks chuck for the cables On my way back to find out what happened to the rest of the group behind us, I went around Mrs. Chuck and right into a tree That broke the upper rear mount for the brush guard on the 3203. When I caught up with Shane he was headed out because the quad runner was over-heating...so we led a group out the 300 and back to the flats.
The only other repair needed was from me snapping off one of the studs for the exhaust on the Crossfire 150r. That one will wait for this coming weekend.
All in all...my first BB was an awesome experience. Wish I could have camped and got to know you good folks a bit better!
PEACE

Friday: No repairs - rode with Jody to get HH - held tools, gas, and watched. Asked Jody and Chuck lots of questions as I watched them fix buggies.
Saturday: Got jinxed - woke up to a low front passenger tire had sand in the bead. Took the tire off and cleaned out the bead and aired it back up. Thanks to Chuck, Jody and Funnyman for tools and support. Chuck wired my fans to run when power is on. Had a blown fuse so we opened the compartment to change the fuse - had to do it twice cause I knocked the ignition fuse lose when closing everything back up. Good thing Jody and Chuck suggested I do that since the fans didn't work regardless cause of the blown fuse. Front passenger fender came lose on the way to the lake - took off and threw in the buggy. Who needs passenger fenders anyone. Another day of asking Jody and Chuck lots of questions while I watched them work on buggies.
Sunday: Cracked thumb while climbing hill, hit a rock and the steering wheel spun the opposite direction I was turning, caught my thumb. Didn't know it until this afternoon.
I learned a ton from Chuck and Jody that will allow me to fix a lot more on my buggy if things go wrong - can't express how much I appreciate that from you guys.
It was also great putting a face to all the names on here, couldn't have asked for a better bunch of guys always willing to help a fellow buggier.
