I would however put a bearing on the end of the drive shaft coming out of the FNR box to the engine because i think 100Hp would bend that thing.

heres what i came up with, it also adjusts the cassette....

I ran her about 10 laps on my 4/10 mile track today, I have one issue that shut me down, I will be fixing that this week, Its one of the expiremental issues, It may not be fixed, but the next step to the expierement anyhow...No video, I was to anxious and broke it before my wife could get it setup....

Don't get the bargain CV joints next time :D
Well that's a good sign that your buggy isn't underpowered.

Actually I am using oem cavalier axles and cvs...But they come up 8" to short, so the ones pictured i welded, but i used mild steel bar, bored each end pressed the splined stub in, welll the mild steel gave out, not the weld, so now i am using a bit larger diameter in 4140, they should be bulletproof, i also am heat treating them after they are welded....I got a line on getting some splined to fit, but i really want to make sure the tripot joints are gonna be durable off road first....

New axles are some beefy beefy son of a guns, Doubt these will break, If they do i got a guy lined up to spline some...

Arebldr, are you planning to run cavalier axles your next go around, It will be a bit more costly to setup for one pair, Sre would like to take advantage and make more later....All tho my customs should hold up excellent....I am welding them together, but i think the process is unbeatable, 4140 shaft oil hardened after weld....Ill post pics tommorow....
