The old saying is treat people how you want to be treated. the thing is that on line people don't see faces so they say hateful things to others. It is BAD that people cannot be alittle old fashion anymore. they let there mouth get in the way of their brains and don't care who they hurt or offend. but if it were to happen to them they would get all pissy and fly off the handle. SOMEONE needs to be the bigger person and stop being such a kid about stupid stuff. This is supposed to be a place for fun and hobby for all to enjoy. but it is hard to enjoy when grown men are fighting over the dummest stuff. If you don't like how certain people do business then don't deal with them. that seems easy enough!!!

Yep, it happens. Was that all you could find wrong, or are you just being a nag? Spell/grammar check just doesn’t catch such human mistakes I suppose. I wouldn’t consider you to be a "grammar Nazi" unless you were pointing out the 1 instance of a mistake in everyone's posts here. Considering you only have what, 17 posts, I'm sure you will make a mistake or two that another member will point out.

By the way, thanks for pointing out that I did type the wrong word. A case of the fingers not doing what the brain commanded? lol

I edited it for your viewing pleasure.

I always try to use the spell check when I post, once in awhile I'll forget, because I understand how hard it is to discern the meaning of a statement when words are misspelled and grammar rules are not followed.

Whatever.

Yeah, I agree $4000 to $15,000 is pretty dumb stuff.

Again, I agree.

For some time now I've been mentioning in PMs not to trash other karts, etc. Last night I edited some of that out of two new posts.

At this point if I see posts like that they are either getting edited (with a clear mark that they were edited) or I am erasing them all together. I'm sick of seeing it as well.

Until we have some direct unbiased comparisons between the different brands of larger karts out there it would be best if the distributors keep their thoughts on the competition to themselves.

This junk has been going on for MONTHS...
I drove all the way to california this spring to stop and visit with sean at his warehouse/shop. I was CHASTISED by members for not bringing a camera??? I wasn't about to make a huey in Az and go get it... still no one bothered to say thank you Turbo... just more whining and complaining about not having any videos??? I am not the best writer on this site, but as it happened another member (OC???) who lived near Lake Elsinore was there the same day and he gave a glowing review o Sean's Brick and Mortar location, and buggy...
STILL MORE WHINING AND COMPLAINING (AKA PI$$IN' & MOANIN')

from Seans point of view I would have lost my temper long before him... I bet $50.00 non of these whiners bothered to pick up the phone and SERIOUSLY discuss the purchase of one of these buggies... After meeting Sean I know for a fact he would have "invested" the time to talk with you about any concerns.
My personal opinion of Sean after meeting him is such...
Professional and very knowledable about his product and his compititions product as well... He has/had a warehouse full of frames and a small amount of tools for fabrication, several employee's to deal with. Did have another business (signs) in a different part of the warehouse his wife seemed to help out also. Didn't look like a fly by night operation to me.
How many times have we seen that here???? Seems the dealers everyone likes screw ya the best...(The guy from Canada and Nick come to mind...

I think what Sean is offering is out of most on here's budget anyway, BUT there are those who are/were looking for what he had to sell...

Administrator... do you have a Pi$$in' and Moanin' filter???

turbotexas-

Thanks for posting that. I know you can be trusted to never hold anything back. I got the same impression from Sean when talking to him on the phone. I can tell he has a lot of passion about his karts and wants to share this with people.

Honestly, I think he gets frustrated by the attacks and this brings out a not so favorable side of him at times. I can't blame him from getting upset. I know he is working hard to bring good things to the masses.

Thank you Turbo. Now stop pi$$in and moanin!
And take a camera next time!

Yeah, dont holding anything back Turbo. You said it! And "buggy". lol

:D Im teasing. Dont hurt yourself. :P

Steve, Are you serious? the "attack" comment is a joke right?

Many members on the forum had had enough of Sean's "attacks" before he ever became a "site sponsor", or teamed up publicly with Rob on here. Until he started posting I cant remember another dealer ever calling members demeaning names for disagreeing with them. I cant remeber a dealer "attacking" moderators on the forums before like he has done either. The guy came here on the offensive and continuously put down the buggies you, I, and everyone else on this site owned, not to mention what this site started about, CORB. Being defensive is not "attacking".

I can forgive him that. Giving him the benefit that he didnt know we were all Chinese buggy owners, and thats what this site was about even though there is a sign on the front door. You dont walk into a Chevy dealership and tell the people that Fords rule and Chevy sucks. Why do that here?
Giving the guy a fair chance and the benefit of doubt is one thing, but taking up for Sean and what has happened between him and some of the members/buggy customers here isnt somthing that looks good on you.

The price Sean is quoting is great for that buggy, but to sit by and let the other rhetoric about powder coated this, and DOM that, fox shocks on everything, thousands of happy customers and all, go unchecked without anything to back it up while they are asking for your money is ridiculous and irresponsible. John Burns said it best. The buggies arent even here yet. When the first customer gets theirs I guess they will see what they bought. In order to be able to make the claims made, the buggies would have to be in his shop and assembled first. Thats just a fact.

The price for this buggy Sean is dropshipping would be great even if it were still the 800cc Roketta, so the deal is good thats not the issue.
Let Sean/Team Motto speak for themselves. Why are you playing the go between for them and new members asking questions about factory issues? Are you going to be a Team Motto Dealer? I'm just asking, if I was new to BN and read the last few posts about these issues I would have to think you were working for them. And that would be fine, I'm not saying that in a negative way. If so, good for you.

Taking the questions I have asked to be attacks shows either a lack of character, integrity, honesty, or professionalism, not frustration.

I buy things all the time from poor salesman who aren't very professional. I dont have a problem with that as long as the product Im buying can speak for itself, and I can at least see it. But argue with me, attack me, call me names about asking a product related question, and you just just lost the sale, and many more through the free advertising I'll give.

Ive gotten many many emails from this site about all this, and frankly I can say that Since that EPA thread started BN has become a mouthpiece for Sean/Team Motto/Superkarts in the opinion of many people.
I like this site. I like its principle, and its intended purpose. Hey, if I am wrong about what we are here for, a place for mini buggy owners to come and talk about what buggy we have, what we did to our buggies, and how to fix problems, and what we screwed up, please let me know.
If I didnt like this forum, I wouldnt post here. Ive probably posted a little too much, and Ive been "attacked" about that before as well. Waiting, passing the time for 48hrs at work, like I am doing now, for something bad to happen so I can get to do my job, has its ups and down. In between cutting people out of cars on the interstate and highway, putting out house fires, and pumping the stomachs of stupid teens, I like to sit down after I do my paperwork and read some of what is going on here. Lately it hasnt been as soothing as it used to be, funny mostly, but not fun. I like to have fun, and when I post about something I see as "fishy" I believe I am doing so in this interest of fun. If I'm wrong, oh well, I can handle being wrong. Its no big deal to me, in fact I hope I am. If other members were stating they disagreed with me, I would read quitely, but that hasnt been the case as many others are thinking the same things I am.

In your Sept. 05 post you stated:
Quote:

I agree. That is a great rule for the dealers and distros, and I hope it is followed. Dealers/distros, should follow stricter rules on BN IMO. After all they are supposed to be professionals on here, right? It should keep the "bickering" down some. At least between them anyway. :D The rest of us members should be allowed to run nekkid through the yard with scissors in both hands.

Daniel

I reviewed the Super Kart, and met Turbo Texas at Sean's facility and Sean's 2 seater was a good running machine. I never thought he over exaggerated its capabilities. Sean can be provocative at times because he is so fired up about his product. He could have tempered some of his negative remarks about the chinese buggies - because he just made people defensive rather then listening to what he was trying to say. However, It seems like some folks are hyper-sensitive toward Sean and his remarks. I though some relative peace was made between Sean and Joyner and the others. What instigated this new poll and post?

Steve, I have read BN for awhile now and you have been consistently fair in dealing with the disagreements. I do not think you are treating Sean any differently. I will be going to the Sand Show in Orange County on the 15th - I will let you all know what I see from Desert Toys and Sean's karts as well.

Thanks
