I wanted to share my experience with Buggy Parts NW. I followed a link to them from BuggyNews and found they have a good parts selection and prices.

I wasn't really sure what to get, but I talked to a knowledgeable guy (Mike) on the phone. My stuff was shipped the day I ordered it.

I had a bunch of questions and stumped him on a couple. But he got back to me with the answers -- AFTER I had already placed my order! How cool is that?

Helped me turn my Baja 150 into a monster.

Hi Grutz-

I think your name was Eric from when we talked on the phone - Thank you again for your business. I hope you're really enjoying your new variator and sliders.

When I sent your parts out, I saw that you were from Madras, Oregon. I normally do most of my riding about 30 miles from there! I'm going to be out that way in a couple weekends (Nov 14-16th), if you're interested in getting together with us for a couple days of riding and BBQ!

Also, if you're still interested in those other mods we talked about, I could probably bring them with me and help you through the installations. Lemme know.

-Mike

That sounds cool, I'll bring the beer! Where do you ride?

Mostly in the Mt Jefferson wilderness - Green Ridge areas, but sometimes in the high desert around Lake Billy Chinook.

Sent you a PM with the general plans for the weekend.

Mike,

Thanks for the advice for modifying my GK06. I received the parts exactly when promised and the advice you gave me was perfect. Thanks again. And welcome to the fame section of buggynews.

Hi Cliff-

Glad to hear it!

How's the buggy running now?

Mike,

The buggy is running really well. It has picked up several mph just by adding the unifilter and 130mm jet. I'm still waiting to add the pulley and weights but I'm sure that will be icing on the cake. Thanks for all of your help.

Mike,
Please see my post titled "GOKARTSUSA.COM = BIG SHAME". The Mike from gokartsusa.com and you, Mike, come from two different planets. Buy from gokartsusa.com at your own peril.
