Well after the fall ride I decided it was time to give the wife's buggy some love. I have it just about about apart, will be painting it a different color, adding new Douglas aluminum wheels, new head ( valve guides are shot ) new seat belts, repair the front where she hit a tree at the buggy bash, and maybe some lights

just a freshen up basically, but will be a fun winter project

Sounds like a fun project. What color are you planning?

You should talk to SimSim about his experience with painting his buggy. He did an awesome job. I'm sure he'd lend a few hints, tips, and tricks..

cool how are you going to take the old paint off, you going to sand blast it.

have a feeling this is not your first time doing restoration.

also seen a yellow handle 2lb shop hammer laying by buggy.the 2 pounder is just the wright size to get the job done. :)

can't wait to see it when its done.i looked up that color it will look sharp when its done. 8)

I will have it soda blasted, doesn't pit the metal and is environment friendly. I will paint it in the shop, just have to move some stuff, have some really large exhaust fans to get what little over spray out. I have a 250.00 hvlp gun so it doesn't make alot of over spray.

she wanted a color that when someone seen the buggy they would know it was her
