Well here I am, back after a long cold winter. Still got the buggy and over the winter months saved up enough money to get it taxed and insured again and get some decent road tyres - Kenda speedracers front and rear. What a difference they make . Obviously on road they give a smoother ride but (and I cant understand this) the backfiring on deceleration has gone.

If you want to see it search youtube(uk) for "buggy at roker" or link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=437ThDcr-us

Happy buggying to you all.

It looks like your front fenders turn with the tire, is that correct? Would you post a picture of the fender brackets showing what the brackets are attched to?

Hi,
Originally got it with the intension for street and will make additions and upgrades focussed on that. Apparently I can now buy slip-diff for just that reason and thats my next replacement.
But it will go offroad no problem as many will testify to.

Hahahahaha sorry didnt mean to laugh out loud. I live in the North East of England which boasts some of the best countryside in the Uk but I'm dammed if I can find anywhere to go offroad legally.
Regards, Andy

About your backfire, my 650 backfires when the weather gets cold. I was told to adjust the air mixture with the air adjustment screw on the carb. I did this and decreased the frequence of the backfire, but did'ent eliminate the problem.
Goodluck and enjoy the warmer weather.
