For what ever reason "back" just doesn't want to work on this site for me. If I click a thread, read it, and want out I have to hit back like 5 times per page. Anyone know what's up with that?
I have been on here 2 days trying to read as much as I can. I have been doing a lot of searches. Problem is when I click on one of the threads it opens in the same window. Then say the thread is 10 pages long. I have to hit back like 1,000 times to get back to my search. Takes forever and I never know how far it will go. Its like a slot machine.
I have to go and run my search all over again then forward through the pages I already seen. What a pain.
Isn't there a way to set up threads from searches, links in threads, or picture links open in a new window? That's the way all the other forums I'm on work. Then I can just shut them and I'm back where I started or if I want that page for future referance I can minimize it and carry on at my original page.

If you use a browser that has multiple tabs (like Firefox or Internet Explorer 8), you can click a link with your scroll wheel to open it in a new tab. Go through the main page and middle-click all the interesting threads, then go to each tab and read away. Once you are done with a thread, just close that tab and go to the next one.

This is exactly what I do, using Firefox. Works great!

Like the rest of what these guys said, in Firefox, for your interesting thread link, right-click on the link, choose "open in new window" or "open in new tab". Read it all, close it down when you're done. Your search results sit waiting for you in the original tab / window for you do that all over again.
You can actually do this in IE8 too now I believe.
