Hey guys I am new to the forum. I have been working on a gtr I got for free with no motor or drive shafts . the driveline is obviously a pain in the neck but I managed to find drive shafts that are beefy and fit absolutely perfect in a GTR. here is a pic. if you want more info let me know!!

Any ideas for a motor for these things? has anyone thrown a sled engine in?
Or would an ATV motor be better. I do want Automatic though as the wifey drives my old on so ill assume she will be driving this to lol.

I am in St Catharines Ontario so if any mini buggy guys are close by please shoot me a msg.[img][img][/img][/img]

Let me know what you think.
they are about 3 inches in diameter and extend up to 6.5 inches. and like I said they are beefy.

Welcome to the site.

I'd like to know more about those axles. I don't currently need any(Gorilla Axles), but others could benefit from the info.

Has anyone ever use a Harbour Freight engine in a buggy this size? maybe the 420cc? would that work? I am going to the states tomorrow and would love to pick one up

Are they splined? Or did you have to modify them? And ive always been told that the industrial style motors ain't worth the effort cause they are low revving and then you have to get the torque a verter setup tho go along with it.
