When I try to reverse it sounds like the dual side by side chain is BANGING!!! across 4 or 5 teeth-jerks and sounds like the rear end is falling apart. It has a verticle shaft where I'm to loosen Nut #1 turn nut # 2 clockwise in 1/2-turn increments, then turn nut #1 until tightened.Like a big dum*** I loosend nut #1 then I loosend the nut on the horizontal pin bolt and re tightend the both.I think I may have over torqued the horizontal nut and pinbolt because I tried 3 times to adjust the chain and could not get the chain skip and jerk to stop. The rear brake needs adjusted bad the 2 front hydro discs are taking all the stoping pressure 100% the 2 front are hot after a run the rear rotor is cool :cry:My son and I had our hearts in trail running tommorow. Now it's all up in the air.GUYS PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! mancoman

Turn the lower nut on th eadjustment screw clockwise so it goes towards the bottom of the bracket. Then turn the top nut clockwise to tighten the chain to where it needs to be. Then turn the bottom nut counterclockwise back up the adjuster screw until it starts to tighten. At this point you need 2 wrenches, one on each nut. Turn the top one clockwise and the bottom one counter closkwise to lock them together. If your rear bracks are like mine there should be a bolt sticking out of the side of the caliper, about where the center of the pad is. Put a wrench on the bolt head, use another at the same time to loosen the jam nut against the caliper. Back the nut off 1/2 inch or so. Then screw the bolt in, (preferably by hand), until the brake pads start to drag on the rotor. Then back the bot off 1/2-3/4 turn. Hold the bolt w/ a wrench and tighten the jam nut down against the caliper with another wrench. Check that you have no more than a slight amount of contact between the pads and the disk. Roll the cart to check for drag or a scraping noise. LIGHT contact is ok. Readjust if necessary. You should be all set.
