Have any of you 1100cc owners (Joyner, LJ Tech, etc.) noticed any smoking at engine start? Mine smokes quite a bit when I first start it up, but it clears up, so it looks to me like valve seals. I know Chinese rubber and similar materials have a bad reputation, so I wonder if the seals are just poor quality and too hard to provide a good seal. If any of you know the specs for the stock seals or have a part number for a quality replacement (Viton) that will fit, let me know.

Same here, mild puff with cold engine. I didn't even see that until I gutted the catalyst and added a spark arrestor to the muffler.

Yeah, mine runs strong too. I didn't notice mine until I put the Desert Karts exhaust tip on it; I thought it was just burning off some of the crud in the new muffler. I guess as long as I'm not the only one, I won't feel too bad. Thanks for the responses guys.
