Next get a 1/8" brass (preferred) fitting and cut it to about 1/2" in length. Mount it into a drill chuck and thin down the bottom end by lightly squeezing with a pliers as it spins. Stop when it just fits into the hole.

The CV carb has a drain fitting at the bottom of the fuel bowl that can be opened and used as the fuel source for the primer rather than adding a tee in the fuel line. Just to make sure fuel always flows thru this drain I ground a flat in the needle and lightly screwed it all the way in.
