Is there a way to change the colors of the forum? The red and black do funny things to my eyes after I'm reading for awhile.

Also when I go to the main forum page I always have to scroll down to "click on latest posts" to see what's new. Is there a way to make this at the of the forum not the bottom.

Thanks,

Philip

At this point there is no selection for forum appearance. Sorry about that. In order to keep two or more themes working here I would have double the work to do every time I change something... and I just don't have that kind of time ;)

As far as recent posts... go to the front page and click on the link that says view recent posts... voila.

Yea, I am game for a color change as well. Not sure what exactly. I really like the black background, but it does mess with my eyes as well.

when i first came here, i really couldnt stand the black background with white letters, its pretty hard to read.

lighter backgrounds and dark text are easier. eg paper and pen.

I would like to suggest at least changing the color of the scroll bar, it is the same color as the background and I keep having to click around to find it. Its really a pain when your half way down a page and you click to scroll down a little more and it jumps somewhere else because I missed it.

I was going to say that... the scroll bar is a good deal brighter than the backgroud. Try turning up the brightness on the monitor or adjust other settings.

I did notice that it was harder to see on flat pannel monitors than on my large glass monitors.

I guess I'll start playing with the settings.

Bear with me if I really screw it up for a bit. I'm not good with the color codes on this stuff... they are rather cryptic.

Hey, I can see my scroll bar now! Dont know if it was from me changing my monitor settings or if you changed some color codes or maybe both. My scroll bar is now a visable light gray color.

Tanks!

I did it... I meant to tell you I did it here, but I got really busy with some family issues. Glad you noticed a difference. :)

Hopefully that takes care of some of the issues a little bit. The scroll bar was a common complaint.

Of course the heading bar is the tied to the same color, so I can't change one without changing the other the way things are set up here.
