Post subject: Coolant fan runs all the time!!!!! Normal?

I think it should go on according to temp.... but Ive also heard people rigging it to run all the time for safety..... Im just wondering if this is not suppose to come factory this way,, is something else wrong?......is it going to run batt down more... is there more of an elec. problem Im not seeing? Yeah its blowing out all the time.... but my temp needle has only moved maybe 1/4 of an inch.... but thats prolly cuz Ive rode it only at night in 35 degree weather,,, and of course.. Becayse the fan is blowing all the time!! i HOOKED THE RADIATOR HOSES AS FOLLOWS... The one that hooks up top is going to the lowest point of the engine.... the one that hooks up at the bottom is going into a pump i beleive. And with the plastic overflow bottle why does it saay lower and upper with 2 lines?....

I wired mine to run all the time. Then we did thecomputerdudes hh. His fans did'nt come on after. Come to find out he had a blown fuse. Had we not hot wired them he may not have known about the fuse till the motor siezed If mine aint running I know somethings wrong

The fan runs all the time. The 250s and the 300s are that way. On the Joyner 250, however, they only come on when the temperature reaches the threshhold.
