I don't know STU I think Blade Buggy's would sale with the WORKS shocks on them, as a special order deal Or maybe a Blade Performance Model with some of the mods already installed. Thats something to think about. Maybe do a poll to see how the waters run.

Gday all, I fitted Works shocks to the Sahara with good effect. I set them up to run soft as I also have fitted Showa air shocks for load carrying. The pic here shows the left Works shock to the std Sahara shock. No real travel gain, just better damping and control. The rear shocks are GSX-R-600 motorcycle shocks and offer preload, rebound and compression damping. The Sahara handles like a dream now and this mod has transformed it. Heres a another pic after I fitted the Showa's.
Injoy

I brought the "Works Performance" shocks from a British Bike shop for my 1973 Norton Commando actually. I raced the bike in the post classics. The bike is not running so I decided to fit them to the buggy. I paid around $300 Aus for them. I saw the ones on ebay found on a link posted above and must say at over $300 American?, sounds quite rich but they may have advanced them since I brought mine over 10 years ago?

Well, they are real shocks.... the real deal. In order to get serious with these things we have to move into a certain direction, and this is one of those directions.
The other option is to try to find some aftermarket shocks that will fit... While this is do-able in some of the 250s out there it can be hit or miss sort of thing until you find something that works the way you would expect it to.
In my mind, these are purpose built shocks... for OUR purpose... finally.
Good going Stu.

I could not agree with you more Steve...
This is the way that we are trying to have these buggies head. I was talking to Robert (VP) at Kasea today and we were going back-n-fourth on ideas of what can be done that will aid these buggies to a higher market. We discussed shocks/suspension for about 25 minutes and I am going to try and get a buggy that will come from the factory with a real suspension, non of this horribile bouncy ride stuff. He also brought to my attention that they are testing a new air ride suspension. (Oops, wasn't suppose to tell you ) After all Kasea has been through, now I know the real story by the way, they are going to really try and raise towards the top. I really see some awesome stuff being done to there whole line of vehicles along with some awesome introductions over the next 8-10 months.
(oh, when you guys get a chance, tell me what you think of the new website, www.schytowntoys.com if you have not already.)
Thanks, NIck Schycker
I am so glad to hear that KASEA is really working hard to move the organization to the forefront. i was begining to worry about the transition. while we were at the Dealer EXPO in Indy we heard from so many of the other distributors that KASEA was on its last leg and soon to be out of business. i could not leave KASEA behind as we had such great customer support from the people in Washington and our customers love their KASEA products.

we have been toying with the idea of putting together already modded karts, but then again, many of my dealers already offer that. some will even do a big bore too. and if you buy it that way, we will still warranty it, so in effect you kinda are getting it. but I like the idea of a big scale distribution...
