Have fun drilling out your exhaust today, but I suggest you don't go crazy with the drill as you are only going to get so much flow no matter how much you drill. Be sure to use a long drill bit so you can reach the baffles in the front of the muffler.

I think you can get them smoewhere around 12+" in length from NT,TS, Lowes or Home Depot. Pud has a post on here somewhere of his method. Give him a PM!

team913 let us know how the adjustable cdi does and how you go about getting it tuned in.i'm curious to see if you get any more noticeable ump out of your motor.i have had good luck with the stock cdi and coil but if there is a gain with the adjustable cdi i'm game for that. it give me something to play with this winter. :)

I will let the fourm no how things work out,I still have to order the pipe and cdi first. The more I think about it I'm wondering if its possible to fit a 250cc engine in the frame of a 150.I'll want a bigger motor when we get our next buggy but want the frame size the same as our 150cc,mabey a little bigger but not much.

A 250cc will fit in some swing-arms. One that I know of can't get their CVT cover off without droping the engine. To me it'd be no big deal if it meant a big difference.

Hey Pud!
I'll be sure to let you know if I think it is worth the money or not. I could not resist buying it as I am big on electronic ignition upgrades. I've done all that to my Harley, in my Suburban, and gas burner dump truck. I really like the NGK iridium spark plugs too. I just bought a set for my Suburban on Friday. Got some for the Harley too.
Anyway, I pulled my old CDI tonight and it looks like the new one plugs right in no problem. I'm looking at it now and it has a pointer on the adjuster screw, and it is adjustable in 10 increments. I don't know if each increment is a degree of advance though as there is no paperwork with it. Funny though as this thread is concerning a 10 degree advance key. :-k Hmmm. Pud do you, or does anyone reading this have any specs on an adjustable CDI for the gy-6?

no i don't have any info team913. i'm thinking like you though that each mark is a degree just advance or retard.i don't know why in the heck they just don't send a little paper work on things like this.
what cdi did you get the yellow one?
