I'm putting together a relatively inexpensive 2"ID snorkle for 08' Roketa GK-13. I went to the Local Advanced Auto Parts and picked up an almost 2' section of universal 2"ID flex radiator hose then went to Home Depot and picked up a 2"ID 90deg radius bend rubber PVC joiner And ordered a 2"ID 6" long UNI filter. The pics will come after it's all on the Buggy and ready to rock! This mixed with a 1 1/4" FMF Turbine 2 muffler, Adjustable performance CDI, iridium plug, Performnce coil and plug wire along with a propperly match jet set should equate to a lively mini buggy. After the power is found I start in the CVT and clutch portion along with bigger tougher tires and shocks.

I am working on this mod tomorrow and have aquestion about it. Would it make a difference how close or far the uni filter would be to the carb. If its further away from engine you would get cooler air. Is it worth it to make it longer.

6 to 8 inchs is what seems to work the best.something to do with the air flow. i know i was just messing around once and made a short one i think it was around 3'' long and my buggy ran like poo.i just wanted to see what would happen, there is something to it. i also know some people have had troubles with snorkles and some haven't i never tried one my self
