I'm thinking maybe she wants Michelle in there too! Love all the work you've done! You'll have to rename your buggy now since it's not original any more! How bout "lil" Michelle!

I was thinking more along the lines of welded 1, or widowmaker (aka michelle), or best yet, baja doom 150

SO!!!! It all comes down to this..... Here is is last step, the almost final product! The only thing missing which will be finished in a week or two, is the springs for the front shocks... The front shock springs are waaaaaay too weak. They have something like 90#'s of compression, and the stock shocks had 200#'s!!!!!!!! SO I am getting 150's, at the advice of a guru, and that is all!!! But it is driving now!!! And those tires ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
John

Glad to see it back together John So I guess the tap worked and you now have beefed-up balljoints?
Let me know how those 150# springs work. My 120's are close but a tiny bit soft for my 185 pounds. Cushy ride is nice but I'd rather not have the front scoop up dirt on those hard landings

welp! The saga seems to finally be at an end!!!!
WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I ordered the set of 150#, 12" by 2-1/2" springs online, only ti find out my shocks were 1-7/8", not the 2-1/2..... SO I had to return the larger springs to get teh 1-7/8th's, BUT, they dont make the 1-7/8ths in 12 inch!!! only 10" max.... SOOOOO...I orderd teh 10" and had to fabricate something to be a spacer.... WHile looking for suspension spacers, or anything that would be both thick enough to hold the spring and be thin enough to stay in place on teh shock, I stumbled onto the exhaust parts at the parts store... Immediately, I found a set of exhaust reducers that were 2-1/4 th 1-7/8ths!! So I mock fit them together and BOOM! PERFECT MATCH!!!
SO, I got the right springs... Right color... AND, the shocks are working perfect!!!! (last statement was said while knocking on wood)

John, I'm real happy to see the new springs on the buggy--and double glad they exchanged them (my bad for giving you the wrong ID). I love the reducers! Let me know what you think of the 150# springs. My 120# are a tad too soft and bottom out on jumps (but give a plush ride on bumpy trails--everything's a compromise!!)
