i put some electrical tape around mine as a cushion. my camera stays put with mine. look at the videos on my youtube and you'll see how it does.

Rv you got a link to your camera? I see an excellent mod for Ducks mount that would secure the camera very nicely, and take a lot of load off the tripod screw... I also think putting one in a small tupperware dish packed with high density foam with a small circle cutout for the lens would really isolate it, then have velcro to strap the lid good and tight...

This is like mine... The view screen door HAS to be open or the camera shuts itself off.

I think id definitely try and mount it in a foam filled box if the view finder has to stay open... You could easily do ducks idea with two attachment point and mount a box as i said with high dense foam cutout to hold the camera with view finder open, Then the top slips on, you could get extreme and cut a hole and replace the hole with lexan so its clear keeping the cam totaly sealed, but i think just a cutout the size of the lens so it shoots clear video and allows sound travel would be ideal...

Also Jabo, you should be able to edit the forum so when you click a link it has a new target and buggynews doesnt go away...
