Early Spring ride for the midwest gang

by WETSU » Mon Jan 09, 2017 2:03 pm

I am wanting to put a spring ride together at Haspin Acres, in Laurel In.
www.haspinacres.com
The dates are yet to be confirmed. It will either be the weekend of the 10th of March,or the following weekend of the 17th.

It has been a few years since I was last there, but from what I remember... You can camp anywhere along the trails, you can ride at night, and the trails were pretty decent. Plenty of mud, hills, and long winding trails through woods. There was a restaurant there where you can get hotdogs and burgers, and I believe a shower house (but don't hold me to that)!!!!
All vehicles were welcome and I believe it is 150 buggy friendly.
I will contact them and get more info. So lets wipe off that winter dust, and get out RIDE!!

This is doable I think, but I already wiped the dust of it yesterday at St Joe.

But I already wiped the dust off at St.Joe :P :P :P :yammer :yammer :yammer !!!!!! Okay I get it  ! So I will be having the dust blown off of mine at 80 MPH on my way to In. Unless I go to St. Joe in Feb. (more on that later) !

The 10th it is!!!!

Also it has been brought to my attention that night riding ends at 10 P.M. So you still get to ride at night.... just not all night!

And nothing personal Rich about me being jealous of you riding at S.J. I guess if I lived 45 minutes from a decent riding place I probably would have done the same thing =D> Good for you!

I will not be able to make this one either... however I will be in Tn this weekend test driving a Yamaha Wolverine for 8 hours at Windrock...

Heading down on Sat. morning, riding on Sunday, and returning on Monday.

Thoughts on changing the location of the ride?

Well WETSU you'll be happy to know the boy and I will be taking a hunter safety course that weekend. Also applied for my FOID card recently. Gonna see what all this gun ownership fuss is about!
