Not having any experience with a 650 I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction.....although I know that Scott at unleashed Motorsports has a kit for the 650's may want to start with his website and go from there.....price wise prolly better to piece it together yourself and do the install.....good luck with it and post lotsa pics.

Thanks Guys
I talked to Scott & he mentioned the DVG carb , I don't have my stock carb anymore & it wasn't the best choice anyway. The best carb for turbo charging is my main concern, EFI is actually the best for the turbo & there are company's out there that make units for small engines but they are $$$

JB..... Glad Scott was able to help ....I thot about EFI too but yeah a little too pricey for me too. Is the carb that Scott recommended the weber 32/36???

Yes & they can turbo prep it. I would have to make a new intake manifold but I just got a plasma cutter so that should help on the fabrication. Even looked at some old corvair turbo carbs on Ebay , I would think they would work too.

I dont think corvair carb is a blow thru .I beleive its an old carter side draft.

Yeah really it's just about picking the carb, checked out the Yamaha 4 small Mikuni's looking for one large carb http://www.mrturbo.com/catalog/106_carb ... _fuel.html My son has a Honda Rincon quad 650 single was thinking that might be possible too, is the stock 650 carb is a 24mm?

Hi JB,now thats what im talking about, you can do this, draw through, just a bunch of pipes.Use the Weber with t15 and switch over to ethonol,20 degrees lower heat.Keep the boost down or those chinese pistons will be the first thing to go.Ghost

Yeah pipes everywhere :D want to keep the boost low 6-8 should give me the extra kick up the hills & not destroy the engine.

Hey TF between his corn mash & all my hot air somebody's going to get drunk :)
Ghost I PM'd you & yes I've been in contact with SuZhou PuHan Power Machine Co
who makes that engine & getting it here is not the problem it's getting it through customs. I'm still working on it but it's not looking like it's worth it. But that being said that would be the perfect setup 1) you can keep your stock trans & axles in stock location 2) get a 10hp increase with the stock motor 3) turbocharging works best with EFI & will boost the HP to as much or more than the Chery 800.
