Geek when you get a chance, google my zip code 85925 and you will see were I am at. I dont mind driving some, but I have kids in school so for me it is either summer or during a holiday like chistmas, thanksgiving, something like that. I dont mind driving 6 or 7 hrs (about how far I am from Glamis or Parker) but I cant really do that for a weekend. I mean it would be leave friday after work, about 4pm, drive 8 hrs, arrive around midnight, set up camp, get to bed around 2 or 3, sleep in till ten because you are exausted from the long drive and late night. Ride saturday till dark so maybe 6 or 7 hrs riding, hang out around camp fire till midnight shooting the bull, eating and drinking. Get up 8 or 9 next morning, 2 or three hours riding, then break camp about noon to get the kids home at a decent hour since they have to go to school monday. So for 14 hrs of driving I get maybe 8 to 10 hrs of riding, and that assumes that nothing breaks, and we havnt even talked about cost yet to drive that far in a motor home towing a trailer full of stuff that gets maybe 6 or 7 MPG.

Dont get me wrong I dont mind doing all that, I just want a few days to enjoy it once I get there. As far as a good place to meet this summer, look into the cinders at Flagstaff. It is perfect weather in the summer, and it is a great place to ride. Maybe we could do like a 4 or 5 day weekend there sometime this summer. Van
