I got a yerf dog 3206. the person before me made their own exhaust and i had to cut it off to take out the engine to work on it. On one of my cuts i barely missed a 3/4 socket in the pipe. I don't have the money for a new one. Can i make the pipe myself and put a lawn mower exhast tip on it?

I would even think of using a lawn mower anything. You might be able to find a small tractor muffler at Tractor Supply or just find a stock muffler off of a 250 MX bike. They gotta be a dime a dozen. There are reducers to make them fit. I bet you could get one done for under $50. Use your imagination.

It is off a 7 hp engine. the pipe on it is the same size as the pipe on the buggy.

Nah, man. That muffler sounds too small. But I would probably work in a pinch. You'll just lose power and be jetted too rich. The engine will be bottled up.

When mine still had the CN in it, I built an exhaust that I used a 15"X1 3/4 glass pac. Sounded and worked great.

My dad has an old bolens garden tractor. He is wanting to get rid of the exhaust because it is kind of loud. Will it work? If it won't i guess that i will have to suck it up and buy a muffler from tractor supply.
