Went to the fall ride on Sat. I could only make a one day trip, but man , was it worth it. Digger wasn't kidding when he said Turkey Bay was a great place to ride. My son and I had a really good time, and you couldn't ask for a better group of people to hang out and ride with. So thanks for the fun guys, hope we can do it again soon.
Wish I had taken more pictures, but I was to busy having fun!!! :D :D :D

It's midnight and I just got the truck unloaded after a day with the gang at Turkey Bay. Yee HA! The bay is a lot of fun. We got there around 9am and buggies just kept showing up. We finally got ready to go except where's Funnyman? Must be filling up with gas (I'll let the others elaborate on this because I promised Funnyman I wouldn't say anything  ). We rode all day-sometimes fast, sometimes slow, and sometimes going where you couldn't go. Did some hill climbing but missed some of the best hills because the access road was flooded. I trust that all present will agree that the CFmoto 250 hi/lo range is a formidable motor for hill climbing (Somebody please elaborate because it's not polite to brag). Met so many buggynews family that I can't keep them straight in my head. That happens when your over 50. We finished the day with a late afternoon run up to Silo Hill, which is a hill top about 200 hundred feet above Kentucky Lake. A gorgeous view of the lake which is as big as an ocean, with THE BRIDGE in full view (I'm sure Eric will elaborate on this  :? :? :? ). Went back to the Lakeland Resort Compound for a dinner of dogs, burgers, an awesome fire cooked chili, and a FRIED TURKEY, which is exactly what we did to the OHV park today. There were lots of pictures taken and video too. Get ready to hear some smack when the rest get home tomorrow. To all those who came, thanks-I had a great day.

The mud wasn't bad at all. The place had really dried up. In fact the main trails were very dusty. Now the side trails and hill climbs were another story. Many were covered with wet leaves and which made it impossible to get up any speed and without speed you would just dig into the loose, soft dirt that was on most hills. So there were a number of hills that couldn't be climbed. Even in a perfect situation there are many hills there that could not be climbed.

Saturday's breakdown were very few. A lost battery quickly recovered and reinstalled, a low battery not able to crank the motor, one broke fender and headlight, one failed shock, and one broken weld joint I think, I never saw it.

i see what you mean the leaves are down here to and heavy like running on sheets of paper and hard to get traction.liken to throwed my dog out of the buggy the other day trying to get up a hill that doesn't really cause me problems.
i was all over the place and bounching around on tree roots. :)

i do wish i could have made it. i like this time of the year.
