o.k here is what ive done this evening. 1st- sprayed carb cleaner in the carb and pushed the slide up and down, then i put the air filter back on and started it but it was the same as before. 2nd- took the carb off and took the 130 jet out and cleaned it and put it in a new carb that i purchased. i installed it and the idle seemed to be fluctuating just allittle but not as bad as before. Do i need to make an air fuel adjustment on the screw by the choke?could this help? i also didnt get a chance to check the plug, is it possible to foul the plug using the carb cleaner? i also sprayed carb cleaner around the intake to see if it would effect the idle and it did not. 3rd- What should i try next If i have to adjust the air/fuel screw , can someone explain how!
turn the idle mixture in all the until it LIGHTLY seats(bottoms out)turn it out about 1 1/2-2 turns out from there.See what happens.May have to adjust your throttle stop to get the righjt rpm.

When i took it for a ride last night, it seemed alittle sluggish and it wanted to stall if i didnt give it gas. Ive got a 130 jet and mrp performance exhaust and a mrp pipe and uni filter. I still however have a stock 24mm carb. Could this be causing problems? I was told this was o.k. Could it possible i need to change my pilot jet. When i get home tonight im going to adjust the air/fuel mix and see if this will make a difference. Do you have anymore suggestions or am i on the right track.
No its not fast all the time anymore. If i pump the gas it will come down to normal for a few seconds and then it starts to fluctuate up and down alittle. Is this an air/fuel adjustment or something else?
If you made those adjustments and only changed your main jet, then you may need to increase your pilot jet some also. This may be where your fluctuation in RPM is coming. As Funnyman said improper adjustment to the air screw will cause this also. If you adjusted the airscrew as he suggested then it shoud be ok and I would increase the pilot jet size as needed.
