Yeah... sad that people can't take responsibility for their own stupidity...

I rode around on modified lawn tractors and built a 7 level treehouse with 16'x5' net all of which was between 6' and 25' off the ground when I was a kid. Somehow I managed to avoid killing myself or any serious injury! Not likely to sue anyone for anything like that. :D

This was a good read though as a buddy and me were thinking about doing the same thing. Never got started though before I moved away. I always thought it could be done, but then reading through this I realized we would've been way over our heads!

Looks and sounds great! Did you put a manual tranny in it? I can't remember after 15 pages, but it sounds like you're shifting in the vids there.

Looks awesome! Seems to ride really smooth. What RPM are you shifting at? Its sounds like you are short shifting it. The Ninja 500 doesn't redline until 11,000rpm and makes its peak power some where around 9500.

Looks to be riding pretty smooth. How do you like the end result?

Yes I shift depending on what I'm doing anywhere from 4000rpm to 10750 rpm but the one video where i pealed out i was at 11500 hitting the rev limit in 5th....... i though i was in 6th. that sandy stuff was almost like ice the light front wouldn't digging over the bumps and i was watching in front so i wouldn't have a miss hap.

I love the end result it cost ed about 3000$ so far. very well worth my time. the only thing i need to change in the rear shocks I'm going to get some heavier springs to make it a little stiffer for cornering and possibly jumping

The new damper worked great until the small ground off tack-weld failed when i was turning. no biggy. The steering damping helps alot for small bumps i didn't even know where there.
I should have more video this week end. Maybe ill drop the clutch on some grass to get some real grip and maybe pop a wheelie :D
