Most I have heard rave about the Rhino.Compared to these china buggys they are quite more.
my folks got them a 660 rhino last year it is set up for them complete close cab heater they are in the middle sixtys.they love it and he will put it down the road,he's an old bike rider. yes the price is to much, for me any way. power its got it and way more an enough to hurt you.i have a drove it a few times but not got rough with it.it is just a little harder to get through a tight turn then my buggy.ah did i say it had power seen 54 mph and still had more and it didn't take all day to get there either.for the country around here your not going to get a buggy into places this will go,like deep mud and river crossings. i have a 150 a friend has a 250 and as much as i like buggies its just not going to happen.the mods really help the buggies my mods has gotten me places that people didn't think was possible but there is only so far you can go before they are waving out the back of the rhino saying good bye sucka again i don't care for the price of them to much, wasn't trying to high jack the topic and start an agrument but i feel terrain has alot to do with it.
good luck on your buggy hunt ermann ,i'm sure you will find a buggy to meet your needs

I agree .....its all about where you wanna ride and what your doing when riding. I have access to a rhino and its a great utility and hunting purpose vehicle..Its very expensive also! For teeth grinning fun its a buggy for me all the way.

Everything was there with a few extras, oil filters and air filters. It went together faster and easier than we expected from former builds, started right up ran great we touched up some of the wiring and took it out for its first ride, we took it just around from our shop is a few trails and dirtbike tracks, with my brother in my GK-06 and my dad in a Rhino we headed out. First off the 4seater murdered them down the street once we got into the trails we bunched up a little closer due to the length of the buggy and the size of the trails but the ride is perfect very smooth never coming close to bottoming out I'd like to say the same for the other two but... Then we took off over to the tracks were it also did very well especially for the size once again suspension worked great through the whoops and the jumps, the gk-06 did well through the tracks as well just needs more power, the Rhino on the other hand has descent power but it spent its time bouncing around though out most of the track mind you its stock but with that kind of price tag I think I would go with an 800cc buggy two or 4 seat any day of the week after riding them yesterday because there was no real stand out moment where it dominated yesterday but I imagine in a tight uphill spot the 4 wheel drive would own but we're more sand and desert riders than woods trails due to the area. I hope to have some pics possibly video up in future.

The rhino vs buggy thing has been done, but it still annoys me when people who have no clue just cant help throwing in the BS and steering some poor guy who is trying to make an informed decision the wrong way. Most people who tell you how great the rhinos are have never owned one or have never driven one. Those of us who have realize that dollar for dollar they just dont compete. Now can you take your 10k plus rhino and add 5k more and make it out run a buggy, YES. Can you then take another 5k and add a long traval kit and make it handle like a buggy, Yes. So now your into it 20k, it will out run, and handle with a 4k buggy. Well arnt you smart. Unfortunatly you are still 5 to 6k from make it corner with a buggy with out tipping over and by the way it is now 6 ft wide so dont take it on anything like a trail, you need a road or open desert to ride it. As I stated the rhinos are great for some things just not what buggies are great at. James by all means go get your self a Rhino, but until then try to stay on point when someone is looking for "good" advice.

A Rhino has more potential power to play with, but weighs significantly more. We usually ride with Rhino owners and I'm riding up the butt of the unmodded 660's on trails. In the wide open straights Rhinos have faster acceleration and a higher top speed. Open up the intake and exhaust on a 660 and it's no competition whatsoever. BUT.....put a 660 in a Joyner 250 frame with manual transmission....and the Rhino eats dust.( of course now you've spent thousnads) The Rhino will blow a buggy away under rough terrain conditions, like rock crawling. So..it all depends on what you wanna do. A RZR will dominate both, hands down.
As far as comparable to an Oddy 250......NO 250 buggy will accelerate like an Oddy, so you should be prepared for that. They will ride significantly better, but their real weak spot comparing to an oddy is... you can't be anywhere near as fearless. Every Oddy owner knows that half the fun is finding some way to roll that sucker, climb out, flip it over and ride on. It was designed with that in mind. NONE of the modern china buggies are designed for that.
