Most of my riding has been open desert as of late.....We replaced the ‘04 Rhino with a LJ1100 buggy sold it and got a Joyner T2...
My wife tested one and fell in love with it...She kinda suprized me.....
So we picked one up and have had a couple outtings in it...It drives nice, the 1100cc motor is
going to be pretty strong (still breaking in) and having a 5 speed is fun like the desert buggys were
(but heavier)...Came with 14" wheels that aren’t too bad...I have read that these tires are not good
in the sand but I don’t plan much in that kinda riding.....

Minor issue with rear shocks rubbing on coilovers, but warranty is handling....Other than that, no problems so far...This thing hauls butt in the desert (2600' elevation) and did good in the Utah mountain trails (8500')....Fuel injection is a great invention....

I guess these will be street legal in Utah soon like they are in Arizona....Opens up more options in the future...When I get more time in the seat I'll try to do a review....

Hi Kurt

I am surprised that you went with a Joyner T2.

I must have missed it when you first posted this msg.

As you may have read I had so much trouble with mine I sold it and went with a Polaris RZR. Have over 600 trouble free miles on the RZR so far.

Most T2 owners have had similar problems and I guess Joyner has been addressing some of the issues like the U-joint breakage.

The T2 is a very capable buggy but its so darn heavy and I just could not depend on it not breaking down on almost every ride I took.

How is yours holding up after a couple of months?

Jimmy,
I followed yuor adventure with the T2 and I have been watching what other people are saying also...Seems Joyner has addressed many of the complaints and I feel confident with it's reliability sofar....

I have only a couple rides in so far...I won't be home for a few more weeks to get some more riding in.....

I am keeping my fingers crossed and will be fairly quick to sell if it starts loking like it's go bad....I was looking at the Teryx when my wife said she liked the T2.... :) So.....

Good luck with the Trooper Kurt, I hope it hangs in there.

Get the upgraded drive-line if you have not already and a little TLC and some wrenching that I know your good at.

I think I am through with the Chineese stuff for now, unless they come out with something that I can't live without. LOL

Here is a picture of my RZR, I just put a 2 inch lift kit and some ITP Mud Lites on it. Now that winter is approacing is when we do most of our riding.

The bigger buggies and the UTVs are just so versatile--it opens up other uses I never considered before. Like pulling a parade float.

I also use my Rzr to pull my fishing boat to the launch. Even if it's crowded I have no trouble maneuvering and parking such a small rig.

I do that to, I launch my jet ski and drive right into the water with it. Who need to wait for a boat launch.

I like your doors and what size tires you got on the back, they look pretty fat.
