Randy, Jonathan Arn told me that they installed longer front and rear shocks on a GTR250 and the thing turned way quicker, or shorter turn radius. Not sure why that would be unless it increased the camber enough to affect it??? If you talk to Chad again see what his thoughts are on that. Im not sure if he meant that they did it in in Alabama or China, but he suggested that it made a substantial difference in the truning radius. Im curious about it now.

I wander if the dealer messed up the axles. I saw one of those today under power and it had no problems. That thing is strong!!! Im thinking about getting one but I would like to know more about the 2 speed 250 buggy first.

My axle seem fine now. The dealer never tightened the set screws on the center axle and the clip on the center axle inside the cup was bent and hanging up making a clicking noise. The kart is fine just poor turning radius.
I called again yesterday!!! They said I should have it next week it is stuck in customs.... I am off the rest of this week so me and the little on are off to get some helmets and a flag. Does the GTR have a flag hole are do I have to weld one on? Wait is the best way to water proof the electic wiring? Do they make a spray? Thanks
Bike stores sometimes carry the tall flags with a decent mounting clip. might save you some creative time.....

Taller shocks in the rear would definitely narrow the rear end. If you jack up the GTR at the center of the rear and take the weight off of the suspension you will see that the track lessens. It is not much but it probably offers some difference. I have considered cutting off the current shock mount location and moving it inboard more and getting a more positive offset rear rim. This also makes the rear shock mount higher so the rear will not push out as far when the weight is on it. As far as the front is concerned I can not see how it is adjustable in any way. The rack is adjustable some and can be made to turn a little more but it will still plow because of the positive traction and no differential. Maybe less aggressive tires on the rear and more aggressive on the front will make a difference.

The pit that we are driving in on the video is in Egg Harbor Township. It is not really open to the public and generally the police come and chase you out as it is private property. We do have a nice go kart program at the Ridge avenue ready to ride facility for go karts. I would love to put something together for a NJ meet maybe some others have a more open riding area with lots of trails. I have thought about going to the NJORVP http://www.njorvp.org/ to ride the trails with a large group of buggy goers. We will see. Anyone else in NJ want to get a group together for a meet?
