Hey guys, I have a 2007 HH 250ss....does anyone know what the stock weight rollers are in this? I would like to upgrade the slidders and spring but not loose too much low end power and make a little more top end speed. I have the HH performance kit on this (intake, jets, exhaust) and will be ordering the Dr. Pulley clutch (stock one is shot), variator and kevlar belt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Dave

i believe the stock rollers are 23g. a good set-up for the variator is 17g sliders and either a white or red main spring. if you need a belt i would recommend the stock mitsoboshi belt, not an aftermarket kevlar. there is a difference. sounds like you have the rest done already.. :D

Yes, I have the performance kit done and after this I will be getting the CDI, coil and iridium spark plug and that will be it for a while. Thanks for the help.

Any other advice would be helpful as well....this is my first buggy, kinda new to this!!

I would go with 18g sliders and a white main torque spring. You will probably find that both low end and upper does better with this combination. You do not need a new variator unless yours is worn/damaged. After you upgraded the intake, exhaust and jets did you verify that you were running with an optimum mixture by checking your spark plug color?

I did not do a plug check, I just used the jets that came with the kit. I haven't be able to get this out and actually run it yet since the performance upgrade.

Bigger tires are great too! Really helps smooth out the terrain. Plus you will be able to put all that climbing power to better use. Good luck.

Just my opinion but I feel your money is better spent on something else other than the CDI, coil and plug.

I like the red spring and 17 sliders they seem to work for me. I do more trail riding than open stuff tho.

What is a Bbk and counter.....I have the exhaust, weights, springs and the variator and clutch on the way. How much does the cam, stroker, carb and sprocket cost?

BBK means Big Bore Kit. Don't forget the UNI filter. The stock box air filter is trash and will ruin you engine. Get rid of it asap.

I have the performance kit that has the uni filter, carb jets and exhaust. BBK is not cheap though. How much power does that add?

I would have the head work done before a BBK. Tom Syc did mine. Big, big difference in performance.

X2 that is where the performance is. That is money well spent and will give you the most gain.

Is having the head work done better than buying the performance head and cam?

Having the head work done is the same as buying a performance head. The cam is separate.
