Hammerhead has been talking about the possibility of a 400 in the 250ss frame by Christmas...they check the forum from time to time, what would be the consensus from everyone?

Without a question. All the CC's you can within that frame. And maybe some shocks and travel that can put up with the stresses of that added power! But hey... I'll take the power either way.

Yes! Get the power, it's what these buggies need! They also need some better suspension, too, haha.

The info is from the marketing side of the Co. Long story short - there were no Hammerhead dealers in SW Idaho so I ended up the area Factory Demo. Rep. and set up a Boise Dealer to get a couple of units and have a authorized factory warranty center. The dealer sold several units the first week (last week) and is re-ordering more units today. They have a wild idea for making one a snow machine that we are keeping under wraps until the SW Snow show the 21st but I hope to have some pictures of that for the forum - wild idea. We have been hoping for a 500 and that is how the subject came up that there may be a 400 by end of year if there is enouph positive feedback to warrant it.
Only thing that may be holding these companies up from building over 250cc is the rumor Honda bailed on buggies because of the threat of law suites with the higher power...hopefully that is not going to scare China off from building just a little bit more horsepower. I don't think we need faster machines - we need more torque which is what the cc's with the same gearing should give us.
