BN members are a special bunch. I'm on several forums and nowhere else do you find the help & friendship you find here. I've been to other rallies and found the same thing--members are in little cliques and you need to force your way in to make friends. At BN rallies strangers approach YOU to meet.
I think it has something to do with being the underdog. Owning an import buggy means you don't have much if any factory support. You don't have some sense of superiority or entitlement like you find with owners of name-brand machines who are always bashing the other brands & their owners. Whatever the reason it fosters a sense of family that's really special.
I think our little community will be around for a LONG time.

I believe it too Mark. Saying Happy Birthday to BuggyNews or any other website is something I've never done, but BuggyNews is special, and if any website has ever had a loving breath of life given to it, then it would have to be this one. I had one opportunity in my life to meet Steve, and that was at the first Buggy Bash of 2006. He was such a special man, and even with such incalculable odds stacked against him (in the end), he created an amazing little website that has attracted an amazing group of members. I am proud to be a part of the Best MiniBuggy Website on the Planet Van

Me and at least one other member missed you today! This site is like family, for alot of fine folks here. Steve, and Sue,Thanks for all you did! I appreciate what you have done for ALL of us!
In the short time Buggynews has been around it has brought togther people from all over the world that share the love for the sport.
This sight has brought families closer togther thru buggy's. Families that have not been having the fun they used to have now have a resaon to be togther some where other than in front of a tv.. That I belive in my heart was Steve's dream.
I want to thank everyone that has made Steve's dream get to where it is now, and their continued support for their fellow buggy riders.

Sorry about the site going down. The BN birthday party was a blowout and we all got a little too tipsy. Someone (who shall remain anonymous) tripped over the server power cord and it wasn't noticed til our hangovers subsided.

Happy Birthday BuggyNews! thank you mark guy48065 for telling me about this great site when the old yerfer.net went down. It led me to find a community of so many wonderful individuals.
By the way does anybody know what happened to Matt the guy that used to run the old yerfer forum is he still around?
